Los Angeles County. Motor vehicle collision resulting in neck and back pain. Plaintiff was rear-ended on the freeway. No ambulance required and no emergency room visit. However, Plaintiff developed neck and back pain and sought treatment with an orthopedic specialist. Plaintiff was referred to therapy and obtained MRIs to his neck and back. The insurance company made a low pre-litigation settlement offer, so a lawsuit was filed. Shortly thereafter, the insurance company tendered its $15,000 policy limits.
